Cookie Policy

Last updated 6 July 2026

We keep cookies to a minimum, and we don't set any analytics cookie until you tell us it's okay. Nothing here is sold to advertisers.

1. Strictly necessary cookies

  • wrp_admin - an httpOnly session cookie used only when our own staff log in to the admin dashboard. It isn't set for ordinary visitors or customers, holds no personal data, and expires when the admin session ends.

This cookie is strictly necessary for a security-gated part of the site to function, so it doesn't require consent under UK PECR - but we're telling you it's there anyway.

2. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are useful, so we can improve it. It is not loaded, and no analytics cookie is set, until you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Necessary only", Google Analytics never runs.

  • _ga - distinguishes visitors from one another. Expires after roughly 2 years.
  • _ga_* - used by Google Analytics to persist session state. Expires after roughly 2 years.

Google processes this data on our behalf as detailed in Google's Privacy Policy. We do not use Google Analytics' advertising features, and we don't combine this data with anything that identifies you personally.

Changed your mind? Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer at any time to withdraw or give consent again.

3. Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to see how the site performs in Google Search (things like which search terms bring people here). It works by verifying that we own the site - it doesn't set any cookie in your browser and involves no cookie consent.

4. Your account and order pages

Your order-review and site-management pages (/review/[order], /manage/[order]) are accessed via a signed link emailed to you, rather than a login cookie - no session cookie is set for customers.

5. Third parties

When you pay, you're taken to a checkout page hosted by Stripe. Stripe may set its own cookies there to process the payment securely and prevent fraud; that happens on Stripe's domain, under Stripe's own cookie and privacy policies, not ours.

6. Local storage

We use your browser's local storage (not a cookie) to remember your cookie choice, so we don't ask again every visit. This stays on your device and isn't sent to us.

7. Changes

If we add other cookies in future, we'll update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
